Short-form Video
Not only does @avaslilscrapbook feature photo collages, I’ve also experimented with short-form videos. In this video, I combined all of the images from my entire sophomore year. I used a stop-motion style that makes it look like the photos are moving on their own! The audio is If Good Times Were Dollars by The 502s and I used Canva to make the video.
The project is being released May 12th, here is the trailer!
Ava’s Lil Scrapbook!
Ava’s Lil Scrapbook is one of my favorite projects I have ever worked on! It is a virtual scrapbook of my life. In March 2023, I decided to post my virtual scrapbook online to share with friends and family. Since then, it has become one of my favorite hobbies!
Every month, I post a carousel-style photo collage recap on Instagram using images, “scraps,” typography, and clipart to illustrate my month. I use Photoshop to edit my images and Canva to piece together the designs.
Although this is a fun personal project, I’ve learned so so much about design and editing. I’ve also worked on creating brand consistency and interacting with an audience regularly.
